During M2’s “ESP Ra.De. Christmas Party: M2 ShotTriggers Do-Kanshasai II” in Akihabara, the developer announced plans to port over most of Toaplan’s library to modern consoles in 2020. Toaplan was known for being the studio behind popular arcade titles such as Truxton, Snow Bros and Batsugun. They did note that Mahjong Sisters and Enma Daio will not be included as they would be “Too difficult” to port over. Despite this, it seems like M2 is about to take on a rather ambitious project as quite a few Toaplan games were never ported to home consoles such as Outzone or its sequel FixEight.
