Anime NYC is the final stop of the Fate/Grand Order U.S.A. Tour 2019, and the tour had two huge special guest announcements. Aoi Yūki and Rumi Ōkubo will both appear at a special event on Saturday, November 16. It will take place at 5:00 pm in the Special Events Hall at the Javits Center in NYC. It is not yet known if they will appear at other events during the convention.
Rumi Ōkubo is known to fans of the Fate series as the voice behind the paladin, Astolfo and the playful countess, Elizabeth Báthory. Outside of the Fate series, Ōkubo has voiced characters such as Chinatsu Yoshikawa from YuruYuri and Ako Shirabe from Suite PreCure. Fans of Fate/Grand Order may know Aoi Yūki as the voice behind the great oni, Shuten Dōji and the talented yet sickly swordswoman, Okita Sōji. Outside of the Fate series, Yūki has voiced a great many roles including Madoka Kaname in Puella Magi Madoka Magica, Yuuki Konno in the Sword Art Online series, Tornado in One-Punch Man, and Tsuyu Asui in My Hero Academia.
Anime NYC 2019 runs from November 15-17 and takes place in the Javits Center in NYC. If you would like to take part in the convention, tickets are still available.
