Well folks, it’s Thursday, so that means time for another Nintendo Download. This week has some cool new games to check out, as well as a behemoth of a classic remade for Switch. As if that’s not enough, there’s also the usual sales and a lot of new digital games worth looking into. Let’s get started with a return to Koholint Island!

Nintendo Download | Link's Awakening

Yes, none other than the classic Link’s Awakening is coming to Switch tomorrow, with a whole new visual style. Sadly I haven’t been able to demo this remake since it was announced, but much as I enjoyed the original, I’m sure I’ll like this version as well. Especially because I’m eager to try out some of the new features. The real question is if there will be any new bosses or temples to check out, or if this will just be a straight port of the classic game? But that’s not all. You can also slay your friends in Dead by Daylight, which lets you play a victim or a slash happy killer. Or if you want to be a real monster, try Untitled Goose Game and harass an entire village. Fans of lush art and unique story might also enjoy Ni no Kuni: Wrath of the White Witch. Lastly, if you want insane antics on motorbikes, check out Sayonara Wild Hearts.

Nintendo Download | Contra: Rogue Corps

Next up, here’s a new promotion for My Nintendo:

  • Earn Double Gold Points! – For a limited time, you can earn up to 600 My Nintendo Gold Points** – twice the regular amount – if you pre-purchase the digital version of the Luigi’s Mansion 3 game through Nintendo eShop or Nintendo.com (where available). This offer ends at 8:59 p.m. PT on Oct. 30.
