At E3 2019 during the PC Gaming Show, publisher Big Sugar showed off a new trailer for their upcoming action-platformer Valfaris. The trailer, featuring some driving heavy metal, can be seen here:

The trailer shows off the gameplay and some of the various weapons you’ll be able to find, as well as some boss fights and a variety of colorful stages. The game is meant to be an homage to classic action-platformers such as the¬†Contra series, but with its own heavy metal-inspired take on the style and pixel graphics with modern effects. More information, trailers and screenshots can be found on the game’s official site.

Valfaris is set to launch later this year on Steam, PS4, Xbox One and Nintendo Switch. A demo is available for the Steam version now.
