Idea Factory is celebrating the nearing launch of Death end reQuest on Steam by releasing the new set of Battle Jack screenshots. These new screenshots show off Arata and his hacking abilities. He is one of the protagonists, and the images show off his Battle Jack system. Once a player has moved at least 50% of field bugs on the battlefield, Arata will be able to activate three systems:

Code Jack This lets him add buffs to his party members, or debuff his foes. He can also use this to increase or decrease the corruption level of friends and foes alike.
Genre Install This lets you install genres to change the rules in battle. You can change it to fighting, puzzle, slot, shooting, and even billiards if you want.
Summon This ability allows Arata to summon boss monsters known as Entoma Queens. He can only summon ones that have already been defeated. This can also give buffs depending on the monster you spawn. Watch out if there are two many field bugs on the battlefield while your Entoma Queen is out, as this may cause you to lose control of your summoned monster!

The Steam release of Death end reQuest has all of the original content from the Japanese and Western releases. It will have English, Japanese, and Traditional Chinese subtitles. Steam users will also have the option to get the free and paid DLCs from the PS4 version, with the one exception of the Bonus Weapon DLC (PlayStation Network & Physical Retail Exclusives). The Summer Swimsuit Bundle DLC is set for June 4th.

Death end reQuest will launch on Steam on May 16th. There is a week long 20% launch discount for the Deluxe pack. The Deluxe Bundle also has a 20% discount, but this discount is permanent according to the press release. This bundle contains the game and the Deluxe Pack. The Deluxe Pack includes:

  • A Character Art Collection
  • A Concept Art Collection
  • 3 PC Wallpapers
  • 8 Mobile Wallpapers
  • Odyssia Symphonic Trance (OST)

Michael Fontanini
Michael is a veteran gamer in his late 30s, who grew up around video games, with fond memories of the oldies like the NES, SNES, and N64 among others. He loves Nintendo, but also plays a lot of games on his PC. Michael also enjoys going for walks/bike rides, loves animals, and enjoys thunderstorms (and science in general). I love Nintendo but I also play a lot of game's on PC, many of which are on steam. My favorite Nintendo game's include Zelda, Metroid, and Smash Bros to name a few. On PC I love the Half-Life games, as well as most all of the Source Engine games just to name a few.
