For many of us, memories of our childhood may seem like ancient history by now. Sadly, time machines do not yet exist and we are unable to return to those carefree days of yesteryear. Luckily, the folks at Sentai Filmworks and HIDIVE may have an alternative. Starting May 4, 2019 at 17:00 UTC, the English dub of Mitsuboshi Colors will begin airing on HIDIVE. New episodes will continue to release every Saturday after that. This is true for the US, Canada, the UK, Ireland, Australia, New Zealand, South Africa, Latin America, the Netherlands, and Scandinavia. A brief synopsis of the series (provided by Sentai Filmworks) can be found below.
The story follows the lives of three small kids on their own secret mission… to protect their city! The adventures of the Colors include struggling to be heard, playing games, solving puzzles and even outsmarting some adults, all before nightfall! As these three girls use their determination to get ahead, what will happen when reality starts rearing its ugly head?
A full cast list of the English voice actors can be found on Sentai Filmworks’ official website. While you’re there, you can also pick up the Mitsuboshi Colors Complete Collection on Blu-ray if you’re so inclined. It normally retails for $69.98, but it’s on sale for $45.99 during the pre-order period. It will release tomorrow, so you’d best hurry if you are at all interested. For an additional peek at the series, have a look at the official English cast trailer below. Alternatively, check out the subbed version which is already available for streaming on HIDIVE.
