Hot on the heels of the new game announcement, Bandai Namco announced the next season of DLC characters coming to Dragon Ball FighterZ with a new trailer shown off at the game’s World Tour Finals. The trailer fully shows off two upcoming characters, as well as teasing two more, out of the six total characters to come with the second FighterZ Pass.
The trailer can be seen here:
The first character shown off is Universe 11’s Jiren from Dragon Ball Super, who was teased by Bandai Namco earlier this month. He seems to come with an array of parry moves, with a big body and likely big damage to go along with it.
The second character to be revealed is Videl, appearing as the does in the Buu saga of Dragon Ball Z. She fights alongside Gohan in his Great Saiyaman outfit, seemingly similar to how Android 18 functions with 17 as an assist.
Videl and Jiren, along with the FighterZ Pass 2 itself, will launch for Dragon Ball FighterZ on January 31. In addition, the trailer reveals the final two characters coming with the pass: Super Saiyan Blue Gogeta and the new version of Broly, as they appear in the recently-released Dragon Ball Super: Broly movie. No in-game footage of these characters was shown off, and they only have a vague “coming soon” and no firm release window.
