Hamster Co. will release the arcade version of Nintendo’s early fighting game Urban Champion to the Switch on November 9th. The date applies to Japan for now, but it may yet hit western eShops in North America and Europe on the same day.

Historically, 1984’s Urban Champion has never been well-received among critics and fans, who criticize its simplistic fighting mechanics. Urban Champion itself was inspired by the Game & Watch game, Boxing. Despite this unpopularity, Nintendo has re-released it over the years on the e-Reader, Wii, Wii U, and the 3DS via the “3D Classics” series developed by Arika.

Arcade Archives Urban Champion will go for the usual Arcade Archives rate of $7.99 USD when it launches this Friday.
