One Life Gaming is a series where a game is played with the challenge of only having one life, and if that life is lost its game over.

For Halloween we have a series of “horror” themed playthroughs of games both old and new.

Today we head back to the PlayStation 1 with Fromsoftwares early concept for Bloodborne; Nightmare Creatures, as you play an old hunter going into a Victorian town that has been overtaken by ghouls and werewolves (note Fromsoftware had nothing to do with this game).

Nightmare Creatures is a 3D action-horror game where you explore deserted towns and graveyards fighting monsters using either your main weapon or the items you find by exploring the stage.

But with having never played this game before and the tendency for old PlayStation 1 games to have rather steep difficulties, especially with it being an early 3D game, how far will we get today?
