The official website for Super Smash Bros. Ultimate got its retail pre-order page updated with listings for a themed Switch Pro Controller and steelbook. The controller can be purchased either standalone or with the game, the steelbook (featuring art of the flaming Smash Bros. logo) in a so-called Ultimate Edition.
Pre-ordering players in North America can opt for the Ultimate Edition for $140 USD or the controller for $74.99 USD, both from Best Buy listings. Both launch day-and-date with the anticipated fighter on December 7th.
As the special steelbook has already been announced for Europe, Nintendo will be releasing the Super Smash Bros. Ultimate Pro Controller in the region, Nintendo of France confirms. What is Europe-exclusive right now is a bundle that includes the game, a themed GameCube controller and the USB GameCube Controller adapter. No word on whether the rest of the world will see such a bundle.
