Touhou Luna Nights | Dash

Touhou Luna Nights

PLAYISM has announced that in collaboration with Vaka Inc. they will bringing Touhou Luna Nights to Steam Early Access. This Metroidvania style game features our favorite maid, Sakuya, as Remilia sends her to a parallel world. This world is filled with Strange Yokai, and now she must figure out what kind of game Remilia is playing.

Touhou Luna Nights | action

This title is being developed by Team Ladybug. They are known for titles such as  KonoSuba: God’s Blessing on this Wonderful World! Revival of Beldia and Shin Megami Tensei: Synchronicity Prologue. They have plenty of experience with 2D sprite based Metroidvania titles, so we can expect great things here.

Features:

  • Brilliant pixel graphics fleshing out the beautiful world of the Touhou series.
  • Metroidvania-style map gimmicks taking advantage of the character’s game-systemized ability to stop time and other powers
  • The 2D game adaptation of the Touhou Project’s “grazing” feature adds a thrill to closing in on enemies

The game will release on Steam Early Access on August 20, 2018 for $11.99. There will be one stage available on release, but they are planning a total of five stages with a slew of new skills. The team is also welcoming any input on improvements to make the game better.
