New information for the second season of the Senran Kagura anime was announced during the Senran Kagura New Title Presentation 2018. During the presentation, the title for the anime was revealed as Senran Kagura Shinovi Master -Tokyo Yōma-hen-. The anime is set to premiere in Japan on AT-X in October.
Crunchyroll has also announced that they will be simulcasting the anime in fall 2018. It was announced that Senran Kagura Shinovi Master is a Crunchyroll co-production and will be available for members worldwide except Asia.
You can check out the English-subtitled trailer for the anime below. The trailer previews the anime’s opening theme “Scarlet Master” by Sayaka Sasaki. The video also features Senko and Gekko, characters introduced in the Android and iOS mobile game, Shinobi Master Senran Kagura: New Link.
The voice cast from the game series are set to reprise their roles in the anime.
TNK will produce the upcoming anime and Tetsuya Yanagisawa will direct the series. Yukinori Kitajima will handle the series script and composition. Tsutomu Miyazawa will serve as chief animation director alongside Junji Goto who will also work on character designs. Kenichirō Takaki will return as “bakunyū producer” and Keisuke Kawai will serve as animation producer.
