Sega have announced in this week’s gaming magazines that they are planning to release remastered versions of Yakuza 3, Yakuza 4 and Yakuza 5 for PS4 in Japan. The titles will contain the same content as the PS3 originals and will run at 1080p and 60fps.

Yakuza 3 will launch for PS4 in Japan on 9th August for 3,990 yen. It will include a code for a digital copy of the game’s soundtrack. Yakuza 4 for PS4 will launch in Autumn 2018 whereas Yakuza 5 will launch in Spring 2019.

Development on the remaster of Yakuza 3 is 90% complete.
