Frontwing’s visual novel, “Momoiro Closet”, now has preorders available on their Kickstarter page. The campaign is to make physical copies and other merchandise available for frans around the world. The funding goal stands at $35,000. The visual novel itself is planned for release on April 28th, 2018, where it is All-Ages on Steam but with an official Adults-only patch download. “Momoiro Closet” is an adult visual novel that stars Kagamihara Alice, student council president and daughter of a member of the National Diet. Unfortunately, she hides that she is a hardcore otaku. She has a chance meeting with Hashima Reigi in a shop at Akihabara, where they begin to grow close to one another.

Tokyo, Japan – February 19, 2018 Tokyo-based visual novel developer Frontwing has begun a preorder campaign on Kickstarter for its new title “Momoiro Closet”. The campaign makes physical copies and other goods for the game available directly to fans around the world, and has a funding goal of $35,000. “Momoiro Closet” is scheduled to release on April 28, 2018, and the campaign page can be accessed at the following URL:

“Momoiro Closet” is a mature visual novel with multiple routes, which tells the story of Kagamihara Alice, a student council president and the daughter of a member of the National Diet. However, she has a hidden secret – she’s actually a hardcore otaku! By chance, she meets Hashima Reiji at a shop in Akihabara, and the two begin to grow closer – sharing their hobbies, and eventually their fetishes with one another.
The title features artwork and character design from veteran artist INO, and a story by Yuhi Nanao. The in-universe TV show “Frill & Lace” showcases character design from Akio Watanabe, well known for the Grisaia franchise as well as the Monogatari series. The game’s theme song, “Voila! Magic Closet” is sung by Haruko Momoi.
“Momoiro Closet” was localized in English by Frontwing’s experienced in-house translation team, the members of which are proficient Japanese to English translators who possess JLPT N1 certification or equivalent. It also features a brand-new system allowing simultaneous display of English and Japanese text during gameplay, as well as language switching at the press of a button.
