Episode 7: Puzzles, Plants, and Progress
Welcome back to more Mary Skelter Nightmares!
Today we tackle Area 3 of the Graveyard. While the Marchen continue to try and stop us, the combined might of the Blood Maidens and Jack continue to defy the odds and push forward. However, Jail isn’t going to just let us skip through the place. If a poison field can’t stop us, maybe a puzzle can!
Additional Thoughts and Notes
Well, this time things went reasonably well.
The fights in the area aren’t too bad, as long you continue to exploit weaknesses you shouldn’t have too much trouble I think. Puzzle-wise the giant flower wasn’t too hard to figure out. I just had the blocks reversed the first time.
The other traps, however, are starting to get more vicious. While the plant spears weren’t horrible, I have a feeling they’re gonna get worse in later dungeons. Especially, if we want to continue trying to uncover 100% of each map.
One last thought, it’s kinda nice that you only have to break one of the Nightmare’s parts in order to stun it. If you actually had to break all three of the parts on this particular Nightmare the part might actually be in some trouble. At the least, it seems like we’re just about ready to take this thing on at the end of the Graveyard once we take out the core.
