Yesterday, Crunchyroll announced their foray into international dubbing. The dubs will start with Spanish and then gradually move on to Brazilian Portuguese, German, and French. Furthermore, the foreign dubs will be for a select amount of shows and be available “on a region-specific basis.”
The anime series that kick off the new dub program include Schwarzes Marken, Yamada-kun and the Seven Witches, and Rokka-Braves of the Six Flowers-.
No official release date for the international dubs was given. In the meantime, Crunchyroll already provides subtitles for shows in multiple languages. As far as English dubs, Crunchyroll has a limited selection, most being offered over at Funimation as part of their partnership.
