I admit I wasn’t familiar with the Eliminage series, so I did some research. Turns out it is a dungeon crawling series that has only graced the shores of Japan, and has been on various consoles such as Nintendo DS, PlayStation 2, PSP, 3DS and even PC. All we know about the latest game is that it has a couple new debut trailers, all in Japanese of course.

Eliminage 3 | combat

Despite not knowing anything about Eliminage, Eliminage 3 looks quite pretty. The art style has great 2D portraits and the music in the trailers is upbeat. Visually the game reminds me of a strange mixture of Shin Megami Tensei / Persona and Fire Emblem (no, not talking about that game, though I love that as well).

Eliminage 3 | Party

Take a look at the debut trailers below, and let us know if you are secretly hoping that Eliminage 3 is the first of the series to get localized in the West.

About Josh Speer

Josh is a passionate gamer, finding time to clock in around 30-40 hours of gaming a week. He discovered Operation Rainfall while avidly following the localization of the Big 3 Wii RPGs. He enjoys SHMUPS, Platformers, RPGs, Roguelikes and the occasional Fighter. He’s also an unashamedly giant Mega Man fan, having played the series since he was eight. As Head Editor and Review Manager, he spends far too much time editing reviews and random articles. In his limited spare time he devours indies whole and anticipates the release of quirky, unpredictable and innovative games.
