If you were hoping that Monster Hunter XX would be coming westward on Nintendo Switch, you may be in for disappointment today. Capcom have confirmed to Gamespot that they currently have no plans to localise the enhanced port of the 3DS title Monster Hunter Generations. It is available on 3DS already in Japan, and will be coming to Switch following its announcement last month. This version contains new monsters, sidequests and other content.
However, it is worth noting that Western territories are getting the more realistic-looking Monster Hunter World for PS4, Xbox One and PC as well as the turn-based spinoff Monster Hunter Stories on 3DS, so that may be worth keeping on your radar if you’re looking for a localised Monster Hunter fix.
