Microsoft has announced that the rock-and-roll platformer The Artful Escape of Francis Vendetti is coming to Xbox One X. It marks the debut of Australian studio BEETHOVEN & DINOSAUR and is being published by Annapurna Interactive. The developer describes it as “the story of a teenager who embarks on a multidimensional adventure to inspire his stage persona”, which explains its trippy countenance.
E3 does not mark the true debut of The Artful Escape, as it was first shown at Australian PAX last November. Rather than give a release window, this musical trip will launch “when it’s damn well ready”.
