Did you see the last TEKKEN article that was talking about a TEKKEN World Tour? We like to do things ass backwards around here and talk about things before we really tell you about said thing. Basically the best players from around the globe will compete until we have a final 7. Those 7 AKA the TEKKEN 7 will compete in the TEKKEN World Finals. The World Finals take place in November of this year in NA.

Things start in the US on June 16-18 at the CEO Fighting Game Championships with stops in Orlando, FL, Dallas, TX, Orange, CA, and more. Players not available to attend live tournaments can compete online. More details on that are supposed to be coming soon.

It isn’t just bragging rights you are competing for, there is $200,000 in prize money up for grabs too. Maybe all those countless hours you spent playing will finally pay off!

Witness the Action that’s on the Horizon in the Forthcoming TEKKEN World Tour

TEKKEN, one of the biggest fighting game franchises in the world is partnering with Twitch, the biggest social video platform in the online world to create the TEKKEN World Tour. Managed and streamed exclusively by Twitch, the TEKKEN World Tour will encompass TEKKEN tournaments from around the globe, seeking the best TEKKEN 7 players to compete in the TEKKEN World Finals taking place in North America this November.

The TEKKEN World Tour will kick-off in the U.S. on June 16-18 at the CEO Fighting Game Championships with additional stops in Orlando, FL, Dallas, TX, Orange, CA, and more. Players that are not able to attend live tournaments will be able to complete through official online tournaments with more details to be shared soon on the TEKKEN World Tour website. Lastly, a tournament is not a tournament unless there’s a cash purse involved and the TEKKEN World Tour has that covered with over $200,000 in prize money up for grabs along with limitless bragging rights and glory.
