Kingdom Hearts Union X[Cross]

Square Enix has announced KINGDOM HEARTS Union X[Cross]. It is a relaunch of the acclaimed mobile game Kingdom Hearts Unchained X. A free update is coming to the game next month that will add the new Union Cross multiplayer mode.

The arrival of this update will also allow fans to KINGDOM HEARTS history. Eager fans can pre-register for the update at the official website (https://form3.square-enix.com/a.p/816/). Doing so will net you exclusive wallpapers for your smartphone, as well as in-game goodies. Additionally, the developers are commemorating the relaunch/one-year anniversary of the game. To that end, players will get some in-game presents the first time they login with the update.

Once the update is out, fans will be able to build teams of six. This can be done from their party, or through matchmaking. Then take the fight to hordes of monsters. You will also be able to take on increasingly difficult quests and unique missions. To aid communication, the update will also add text bubbles and new emotes. The story will see players encountering both new and familiar faces along the way. The update also brings a new “Theatre Mode” where you can watch cutscenes again.

Lastly, if you’re going to be at PAX East, you have the chance to be one of the first to get your hands on the update. You’ll also have a chance to get a poster (featuring the artwork of Tetsuya Nomura), and buttons. This is of course only while supplies last. You’ll find Square Enix at booth #11017.

Michael Fontanini
Michael is a veteran gamer in his late 30s, who grew up around video games, with fond memories of the oldies like the NES, SNES, and N64 among others. He loves Nintendo, but also plays a lot of games on his PC. Michael also enjoys going for walks/bike rides, loves animals, and enjoys thunderstorms (and science in general). I love Nintendo but I also play a lot of game's on PC, many of which are on steam. My favorite Nintendo game's include Zelda, Metroid, and Smash Bros to name a few. On PC I love the Half-Life games, as well as most all of the Source Engine games just to name a few.
