A new update has been announced for the free to play gameĀ Digimon mobile game, and it brings forth a new event. Bandai Namco released the following regarding the new update:

BANDAI NAMCO Entertainment America is unleashing a major update for the popular Digimon Heroes! mobile game. Already downloaded by over 3 million users, Digimon Heroes! is a free-to-play, action-packed card battle game that takes players and Digimon fans on a wild mobile adventure, featuring an iconic cast of over 1,000 DIGIMON characters from past and present. Digimon Heroes! is available now for free at the App Store and Google Play.

On November 8th, Digimon Heroes! is introducing the Infinity Tower update, a new player-versus-environment (PVE) gameplay mode in which players must assemble their ultimate Digimon team to wage epic battles, unlock checkpoints along the tower, and earn epic rewards. In each battle, enemies will be randomly selected from a large pool of Digimon and get stronger as players advance. Every four battles will unlock a new checkpoint and a special reward, with higher checkpoints doling out bigger rewards. Players can also compete in Global Leaderboards for total Infinity Tower domination.
