Nintendo revealed that Dragon Quest VIII: Journey of the Cursed King release in North America and Europe on January 20, 2017. To go along with this announcement, Nintendo released a trailer of the upcoming JRPG epic, giving a preview of the main cast of characters, turn-based battles, and voice-acting. The trailer also highlights updates to the original PS2 game, like the removal of random battles in favor of enemies you encounter in the field. With the release of Dragon Quest VII a few months back and this upcoming release, it’s nice to see the return of Dragon Quest RPGs in the west. Check out the debut trailer below.

During today’s Nintendo Direct, Nintendo gave us some new details about the upcoming mecha shooter Daemon X Machina, revealed during
