The official Skullgirls Twitter account has revealed the contents for the Limited Run Games physical edition for Skullgirls 2nd Encore, that will be releasing for both PS4 and PS Vita in the West. Although Japan already has a physical release courtesy of Arc System Works, this version of the game will include all the updates and DLC on disc/cartridge, making it the definitive version of the game. Additionally, this game will also have a slipcase, a full colour instruction manual and a soundtrack selection CD included as part of the pack. It will retail for $39.99 for both platforms.

Additionally, the size of the print run will be determined via a preorder system, which will be a first for the PlayStation lineup of Limited Run Games releases. From October 31st, you will have two weeks to place a preorder for the game. If at least 10,000 copies are preordered, all Western versions of the game (including the Steam release) will recieve a patch containing the Japanese voice acting. Preorder links are not live yet on the Limited Run Games website yet, however it’s worth checking back on October 31st if you are interested in purchasing this version of the game.

Not many people jumped on the Silver case limited run using this same preorder set up, but I know they will sell more than that game. Probably not 10k, but I will be getting the Vita version.
