Today over at the PlayStation blog the Hamster Corporation announced that they would be bringing a handful of classic SNK titles to the PS4, starting with King of Fighters ’94.
King of Fighters ’94 kicked off the series by bringing together characters from other SNK titles such as Fatal Fury, Ikari Warriors, and Art of Fighting. Its three-on-three battles made it stand out from other 90s fighting games such as Capcom’s Street Fighter II.
Other titles coming to the PS4 in 2016 are:
- Metal Slug
- Samurai Showdown
- Alpha Mission II
- Fatal Fury
- World Heroes
With more to come in 2017:
- Neo Turf Masters
- Nam-1975
The game launches on PS4 tomorrow, October 27.
