Torrance, Calif., – October 3, 2016 – XSEED Games, the independent-minded console publishing brand of Marvelous USA, Inc., today announced that STORY OF SEASONS, the latest entry in the long-running Bokujo Monogatari farming/life-sim series that is celebrating its 20-year anniversary, has sold more than 150,000 units in North America, while Rune Factory 4, also helmed by Bokujo Monogatari producer Yoshifumi Hashimoto, has sold in excess of 200,000 units. The milestones for the Nintendo 3DS™ hand-held system games are being celebrated by the first permanent price drop to $29.99 SRP since their respective debuts in March 2015 and October 2013.
The company also announced the exciting introduction of the capybara pet in the upcoming STORY OF SEASONS: Trio of Towns for Nintendo 3DS, which will be coming to life as a pre-order bonus.
