A few months back Nintendo announced the NES Mini for North America and Europe, and it looks like Japan is finally getting in on the retro action. The Famicom Mini is basically the same deal as the NES Mini: 30 pre-installed games that feature multiple save states and visual filters. One big difference is the software, as Japan will get some games not found in the other versions, like River City Ransom and a sumo wrestling game. In a surprising twist, the Famicom Mini will actually feature the US version of Super Mario Bros. 2, titled Super Mario USA, rather than the original Japanese version.
