At Tokyo Game Show it was announced that an anime adaptation of Akiba’s Trip will be happening next year. Produced by Gonzo, Akiba’s Trip The Animation will be coming to Tokyo MX, BS Juji and AT-X in January 2017. Kazuo Hyoda will be working on the writing for this show while Hajime Mitsuda is in charge of the character design.

Hopefully we will get a nice trailer to go along with this announcement soon. As of right now no word on whether or not this anime will make it to the west. But more information is likely to surface soon enough. Chances are this adaptation will be just as over-the-top as the game is. Would any of you be interested in an anime adaptation of Akiba’s Trip?
