Nintendo have confirmed at Apple’s conference today that they are bringing their popular iOS/Android Pokemon spinoff Pokemon Go to Apple Watch, with additional features.
Firstly, many of the game’s functions will be available on the watch’s face. This version will include includes updates to the game such as how much distance you need to hatch an egg, and showing what is hatched from the egg. Additionally, you will gain access to the “Nearby” list and see what Pokemon are nearby, and getting a session recap upon the end of your time with the game. These updates will compromise the version of the game known as Pokemon Go Plus.
A release of Pokemon Go Plus is aimed for a release towards the end of the month, with the Apple Watch version of Pokemon Go Plus coming later this year.
