Akira

Milan Records has announced on Twitter that they will be releasing the “Symphonic Suite” edition of the Akira soundtrack on Vinyl. They claim that the “Symphonic Suite” edition is superior to the original score which is why that version was chosen. The record label also confirmed that this release will be available in Europe. This is exciting news for fans of the classic film, especially since the original release of the LP is apparently very difficult to find nowadays. As of right now no release date has been announced, but we should be hearing back about this soon.

How many of you are excited to see this get a re-release, and what other classic anime film scores would you like to see come to vinyl?
