Pokemon Mystery Dungeon

Are you a fan of Pokemon spin-off titles? Well how about the Mystery Dungeon games? Yes? Well you’re in luck, because it seems three of them are coming to the Wii U Virtual Console. Red Rescue Team for the GBA, along with Blue Rescue Team, and Explorers of the Sky, originally for the DS, will soon be available.

Pokemon Mystery Dungeon is not only a Pokemon spin-off but also part of the rather expansive Mystery Dungeon series by Chunsoft/Spike Chunsoft. It’s roots can be traced back all the way to the Super Famicom with the Dragon Quest spin-off, Torneko’s Great Adventure: Mystery Dungeon.

So there you have it. These Pokemon roguelike-likes will be hitting the eShop June 26th to either relive, or perhaps experience for the very first time.
