Last week, Gust teased that they would soon reveal another entry in the Atelier franchise and with the latest Dengeki PlayStation, its at last been revealed. Titled Atelier Firis, the game has been announced for both the PlayStation 4 and PlayStation Vita.
Not only showing off the main lead and her sister, they went on to describe in the interview their objectives for the new installment. One with emphasis on exploration akin to Atelier Totori and Ayesha and with larger areas and choices that affect the story and the passage of time playing a key role. The main protagonist, Firis Mistroot, will have the ability to preform alchemy out in the field with the placements of bonfires across the world, no longer fixed to the studio back in town like previously.
No release date has been announced, but have stated the game is about 50% completed in development.
