Bandai Namco released new information yesterday about two new characters in their upcoming RPG Tales of Berseria for the PlayStation 4 and PC. Now, the Tales of Blog has been updated with even more details on the game, including, a lizard daemon by the name of Dyle and Mystic Artes used in battle.

Read the post below:

You may have spotted these two in past trailers: Half siblings Oscar Dragonia and Teresa Linares. They are exorcists from Abbey that our main cast of characters will cross paths with through the story. Oscar and Teresa are not playable characters, but they’ll still be important.

Oscar is a strong praetor exorcist who fights against Velvet as she tries to flee from Titania, the prison island.

Teresa is the praetor exorcist who governs Hellawes, the north town in Midgand Holy Empire. She calls Laphicet “Number Two” and has tethered him to use his Malak artes.

Velvet will also come across a lizard daemon named Dyle as the story kicks off. He’s going to be really helpful as she tried to break out from the prison island Titania.(More information about Dyle is due out in an upcoming article.)

Mystic Artes

Mystic Arte are back in Tales of Berseria! Mystic Arte are strong special attacks to be executed by consuming Blast Gauge (introduced in a previous article). A player can deal high damage to an enemy which play out with a cool animation to show off this powerful Mystic Arte!

A player can strengthen a character to activate new and hidden skills as the game progresses.

There are lots of different effects that skills can have on a character and two key ways to activate them; the first way is to activate equipment skills and the second is to activate skills that belong to titles. (More information about this is due out in an upcoming article.)

Tales of Berseria is coming to the PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 3 on August 18 in Japan, and for PlayStation 4 and PC in North America and Europe early next year.
