Spike Chunsoft has announced that the new voice of everyone’s favorite bear full of despair Monokuma from the Danganronpa series will be Tarako Isono.
Sadly, it was revealed mid-last year that the original voice actress, Nobuyo Oyama, is suffering from dementia and would put off any future job requests.
Tarako’s first performance as Monokuma will be in Danganronpa the Stage. Additionally, she will be cast in the upcoming Danganronpa 3: The End of Hope’s Peak Academy anime and New Danganronpa V3: A New Semester for Everyone’s Killing Game.
Spike Chunsoft also released a video with Monokuma’s new voice talent, Tarako.
New Danganronpa V3: A New Semester for Everyone’s Killing Game is coming later this year. Danganronpa 3: The End of Hope’s Peak Academy will air this July.
