The Twitter account for Kabaneri of Iron Fortress has updated fans of the new vampire-killing steam-punk anime that the second episode will be delayed by 1 week. This means that the episode will air April 21 in Japan and will debut on Amazon Prime shortly after.

This delay was caused by continuous news coverage of a major earthquake in the Kumamoto Prefecture. [Author’s Notes] Our hearts go out to anyone affected by this natural disaster.
