A new character has been added to the arcade game Dissidia Final Fantasy currently out in Japan. Announced on the live stream earlier today, the new cast member is none other than the Primum Scelus himself, Garland. Here is the announcement video.
According to Crunchyroll he is voiced by Kōji Ishii (Garterbelt in Panty & Stocking, narrator in Terraformars) and now that I have that information I can kind of hear the similarity from Panty & Stocking, a hilarious anime. Still no word on if or when we will see this title here in the west. But given the arcade architecture that was used, it has been long theorized that a PS4 release is a matter of time. So we’ll continue to keep you updated at Operation Rainfall.
