Dead or Alive Xtreme 3 will be releasing a “Basic Play Free Version” for both the PS4 and Vita this summer for Japan. Other than the release window, not much has been revealed for what will be in the “Free Version”. It’ll probably have only a small portion of the full games content, and there will probably be a good chance it will follow how Core Fighters worked with having the option to purchase content such as more characters.

Dead or Ailve Xtreme 3 will be released on the PlayStation 4 and PlayStation Vita in Japan on March 24. If you’re interested you can find a copy with English here.
