Nintendo has released the second episode of its Fire Emblem Fates video series, “Life on the Front Line.” Similar to the Xenoblade Chronicles X “Survival Guides,” this offers a cinematic look at the game, including story elements, character descriptions and gameplay details. This latest episode, “Star Crossed Royals,” takes a look at the opposing factions of the game and the characters your male or female Corrin will come across. It doesn’t go too in-depth for anyone worried about spoilers, but it does give a general idea about the characters and what motivates them. There is also some information about changing classes and getting married.
The next episode will focus on the “My Castle” feature, while future episodes will highlight multiplayer and the Fire Emblem amiibo functionality. Fire Emblem Fates: Birthright and Fire Emblem Fates: Conquest launches on Nintendo 3DS February 19.
