Love Live! VA Unit μ’s to Hold Final Concert

During a special 30 minute program that aired in Japan, Love Live! voice acting unit, μ’s, announced that they would be holding their final concerts in 2016. They will hold their “μ’s Final LoveLive! ~ μ’sic Forever~” on March 31, 2016 and April 1, 2016. μ’s will release their “final single” on March 2, 2016. The final concert and single are part of what is called the “Love Live! μ’s Arigatou Project ~Road to μ’sic Forever~”. Other than the concert and single, the project will also include theatrical screenings of their anime music videos and concerts. They will also stream footage from their previous concerts and three books will be published which relate to the project. You can check out the commercials for the project below.

In the Love Live! School idol Project anime, μ’s is the schoolgirl idol group which the story revolves around. The group consists of nine members including: Kousaka Honoka, Sonoda Umi, Minami Kotori, Nishikino Maki, Hoshizora Rin, Koizumi Hanayo, Yazawa Nico, Ayase Eli, and Toujou Nozomi. The real life voice acting unit, μ’s, is made of the nine voice actresses who voice the main characters from the anime. The nine voice actresses are: Nitta Emi, Uchida Aya, Mimori Suzuko, Pile, Iida Riho, Kubo Yurika, Tokui Sora, Nanjo Yoshino, and Kusuda Aina. Together μ’s has released 23 singles and 8 albums. μ’s is also divided into three mini units. These units are called lily white, Printemps, and BiBi. The unit Printemps consists of Kousaka Honoka (Nitta Emi), Minami Kotori (Uchida Aya) and Koizumi Hanayo (Kubo Yurika). The unit lily white consists of Sonoda Umi (Mimori Suzuko), Hoshizora Rin (Iida Riho) and Toujou Nozomi (Kusuda Aina). The unit BiBi is made up of Nishikino Maki (Pile), Yazawa Nico (Tokui Sora) and Ayase Eli (Nanjo Yoshino). The mini units in total have released 17 singles.
