Telltale Batman

Both gaming and comic book fans should be excited by this one. Yesterday during the Video Game Awards, Telltale Games announced they are working on a Batman game sometime in 2016. There’s not much to go by other than a brief trailer, but it exhibits the usual Telltale charm, with great, edgy graphics and compelling voice acting. While we don’t know what consoles it’s coming to, it’s safe to bet it will make it’s way to PS4, XBox One and PC.

There’s frankly a lot of ways that this classic comic icon could be handled, but my biggest question is who is going to voice the titular hero? Given the way Telltale handles games, it will be episodic, and hopefully be full of dramatic choices and QTEs (hopefully not too much of the latter). Make sure to check the video below if you missed it last night, and chime in to let us know if you’re excited or disappointed by Telltale picking this franchise. If nothing else, it should be quite interesting to see morality handled by such a complex character.
