PS+ Gauntlet

Can you smell it in the air? That scent of mashed potatoes, yams, pie, stuffing and turkey? Thanksgiving may be tomorrow, but Sony is getting ready for December, and have unveiled their December lineup for PlayStation Plus members. It’s a eclectic mix of games this time around, with no one particular genre being the focus. PS4 owners definitely win out, as they get King’s Quest and classic Gauntlet: Slayer Edition. Those with PS3s get Far Cry 3: Blood Dragon as well as SSX. Finally, those with a Vita get Freedom Wars (a title I kept putting off buying until now, conveniently) and something called Rocketbirds: Hardboiled Chicken (though turkey might be more appropriate). These titles will be available on PS + as of the first Tuesday of December. So enjoy your Thanksgiving food comas, and get ready to start the holiday season with some great free games!

About Josh Speer

Josh is a passionate gamer, finding time to clock in around 30-40 hours of gaming a week. He discovered Operation Rainfall while avidly following the localization of the Big 3 Wii RPGs. He enjoys SHMUPS, Platformers, RPGs, Roguelikes and the occasional Fighter. He’s also an unashamedly giant Mega Man fan, having played the series since he was eight. As Head Editor and Review Manager, he spends far too much time editing reviews and random articles. In his limited spare time he devours indies whole and anticipates the release of quirky, unpredictable and innovative games.
