Square Enix has revealed some information about five of the party members for the upcoming Star Ocean 5: Integrity and Faithlessness which will be launching in Japan next year on February 25th, for both the PlayStation 3 and PlayStation 4, though only the PlayStation 4 version will be coming to the west. Below is a summary of what was revealed:
Fidel Camuze is the main protagonist and hails from the Kingdom of Leslia. He trained under his father who is a famous swordsman. While normally calm and collected he also seems to possess a deep passion.
Miki Sauvester is a girl who is the childhood friend of Fidel. She looks up to and loves Fidel like a brother due to their ages and the fact they were raised together. She resides in the village of Stahr where she is what’s known as a “Spellmark Mage” with rare healing abilities.
Lilia is a young girl who lost her memories and is found by Fidel during a mysterious incident. The party takes her in and Miki becomes an adoptive mother towards her.
Viktor Orkvil is a soldier who belongs to the Special Forces of Leslia. Devoted to his duties he has earned the trust of those who serve under him. While serious, even when in battle, he seems to have misgivings about killing others.
Fiore Burnelli is a renowned Spellmark Mage who is associated with Randock Kingdom’s Spellmark Research Institute. She wears a rather revealing outfit that allows her to show off the Spellmark that is engraved into her leg.
Lastly, the “Spellmark Mages” themselves are mages with magic symbols that have been engraved into their bodies which allow them to use various magic based on the design of the symbol itself.
