Hatsune Miku Greatest Idol

Hatsune Miku will be receiving a new 1/8-scale figure courtesy of Good Smile Company, based on the cover art for Mitchie M’s first album, Greatest Idol. The original album was released on November 6, 2013, with cover art drawn by Yoshiyuki Sadamoto, who also served as the character designer for the Evangelion series. The figure will stand at 200mm tall, and will cost 11,111 yen before taxes–roughly $95.25 USD. Good Smile Company will ship the figure in May 2016. In addition, Good Smile Company has announced that pre-orders for the figure will include a special A3-sized tapestry featuring Sadamoto’s album art.
