Pokkén Tournament - Blaziken | opainfall

The Pokémon World Championship kicked off today with a big announcement: Arcade fighter game Pokkén Tournament will release worldwide on the Wii U this spring!

Koei Tecmo’s collaboration with The Pokémon Company is exactly what it sounds like. Pokkén Fighters, released in Japanese arcades earlier this year, is a Tekken-styled fighting game with Pokémon as the fighters. The game’s playable roster consists of Lucario, Machamp, Suicune, Pikachu, Gardevoir, Charizard, Gengar, Blaziken, and Weavile. Other Pokémon make appearances in support roles. Announced at Worlds was the addition of new fighter Pikachu Libre! One of Pikachu’s special Cosplay formes in Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire, Pikachu Libre had access to Fighting-type move Flying Press.

When you grab Pokkén Tournament this spring, who are you going to play as? Let us know in the comments!
