A few weeks ago, Nintendo showed some of the bundles that are coming with it’s new Animal Crossing: Happy Home Designer game. Now, it has a release date with a new trailer for the Americas. It’s launching on September 25th and you can expect it to include some of the new amiibo NFC cards if you buy a retail copy.
The cards add villagers to your game which have specific requests about how they want their home decorated. You, the player, work at the Happy Home Academy and help villagers fulfill their home decorating dreams. So it’s a very specific slice of the Animal Crossing experience but it does look fun for those of us who’ve enjoyed tweaking their virtual (or real) homes in the past to get it juuuust right.
