Miku, miku miku…the twin-tailed, teal-haired Vocaloid mascot has been in so much, from action figures to statues to dolls and clothes. All based on various looks from music videos no less, leading to endless variants that can top most transforming anime protagonists. Bandai Tamashii Nations has created a unique Hatsune Miku action figure that can transform into a Rody horse, a type of toy meant for children to ride on. This Hatsune Miku is a Chogokin action figure from Bandai and will have die-cast metal parts in her. Her accessories include an alternate face, a keyboard, two leeks for her to hold, changeable hands and a display stand.
There was actually a similar Hello Kitty action figure by Bandai Tamashii Nations, as well, though it did not transform and was just a smaller Hello Kitty in a giant robot of herself. Hatsune Miku Rody will retail for 7,734 yen (~$60 after conversion) and will release on October 24 in Japan. You can pre-order this figure on web sites such as amiami and hobbylinkjapan
