Minecraft | Mass Effect Costumes

Minecraft players who play on PS3, PS4, and PS Vita may be excited to hear that the game is getting two new DLC packs on those platforms today. They are the Mass Effect Mash-up Pack and the Pattern Texture Pack.

The new Mass Effect Mash-up Pack gives the game a new coat of paint in the form of Mass Effect 3 textures. It also allows you to explore the Mars Facility from Mass Effect 3 and battle blocky Reapers. The GUI gets a Mass Effect themed look, and the pack includes 36 character skins, 22 music tracks, and some craftable items. This pack will cost you $3.99/£3.29/€3.99.

As for the Pattern Texture Pack, it also gives the game a new coat of paint full of patterns. This pack definitely stands out from most other texture packs for the game, as it is quite unique. No doubt, some people may find this pack to be a bit too cutesy for their taste. With the Pattern Pack, your game world will be full of patterns and bright colors. The GUI also gets a fitting look to go along with the new textures all over your world. Being a little less bulky, this DLC pack has a cheaper price tag of $0.99/£0.79/€0.99.

Both of these new DLC packs can help you add a little spice to your game. Not that the game’s default textures are bad, but sometimes you just want to change things up a bit, you know.

Michael is a veteran gamer in his late 30s, who grew up around video games, with fond memories of the oldies like the NES, SNES, and N64 among others. He loves Nintendo, but also plays a lot of games on his PC. Michael also enjoys going for walks/bike rides, loves animals, and enjoys thunderstorms (and science in general). I love Nintendo but I also play a lot of game's on PC, many of which are on steam. My favorite Nintendo game's include Zelda, Metroid, and Smash Bros to name a few. On PC I love the Half-Life games, as well as most all of the Source Engine games just to name a few.
