Have you ever longed to create your own Visual Novel world? To devise the multitude of branching paths and emotions of your characters and villains? To design your own wide eyed anime girls to woo? If the answer to one or more of those was yes, then you’ll soon be in luck! A new Visual Novel builder called TyranoBuilder is headed to Steam March 27th to fulfill those creative impulses.
Although the Steam page is sparse on details, it does mention you can use the program to create multi-platform Visual Novels with little to no experience in programming or scripting! Which is awesome if you’re a noob like me to the ways of computer witchcraft and still want to make your own games. TyranoBuilder will offer drag and drop tools to ease folks through making their own games. Best of all, you can export your games to a variety of devices, such as Windows, Mac, iOS and Android smart devices and even browsers. You’ll even have the option to distribute your finished visual novel to various forums, such as Steam, GooglePlay or the AppStore!
According to their official site, TyranoBuilder will cost $14.99, which is not that expensive when you consider other creative programs such as RPG Maker VX Ace easily cost triple that price. If TyranoBuilder is as easy to learn as they profess, I will be very interested in buying it for myself. If you’re interested in making your own Visual Novels as well, feel free to chip in below in the comments!
