“Ha~i!! YuruYuri, hajimaru yo~!” (Hey! YuruYuri is starting!)
Those familiar words will be in your head once again as one of the most infamous and comedic Yuri anime returns for a 3rd season. The announcement was made on Saturday during the “YuruYuri Nachu Yachumi! P’s Live Chokuzen! Goraku-bu Live Playback” event.
The anime is an adaptation of a comedy manga written by Namori that originally ran in Comic Yuri Hime S. The story starts the girls of the “Amusement Club” (Akari Akaza, Kyōko Toshinō, Yui Funami, Chinatsu Yoshikawa) and follows their everyday antics, as well as those of the Student Council (Ayano Sugiura, Chitose Ikeda, Himawari Furutani, and Sakurako Omuro).
The first two seasons (YuruYuri and YuruYuri♪♪) have been licensed by NIS America and are available on Crunchyroll for streaming.
