Icebound, a cute steampunk fantasy visual novel, needs your help on Steam Greenlight. Why would you just go help out a game that you know nothing about? You wouldn’t… so here is some info!
What is Icebound? (From Game’s Official Site)
Icebound is a steampunk fantasy visual novel and puzzle game that takes place on a frozen world in the depths of an ice age, where alchemists possess supernatural powers.
Icebound takes place in Permia, a world that has been frozen in ice for more than a millennium. While we don’t know when the ice age actually began, a religious text called the Book of Auris says it is an ancient and tremendous conflict, and seemingly the reason for the ice age is that Lord Argath lead some demonic alchemists in an attempt to overthrow the Goddess. Surely they know better than to mess with a Goddess?! Guess not! Well, this lead to the collapse of civilization of the Ancients. Seriously. Don’t mess with a Goddess!
Along comes Dougal, (more about him below) a lone wanderer who is searching for… you guessed it. Treasure! Of course he isn’t the only one seeking treasure, and lots of people are going to require his help, and try to hinder his journey on his search.
And then we have the Alchemy Kit that was manufactured in the Imperial capital. That’s all fine and well but what does it do? It detects energy waves and makes life much easier. The invention of this kit kicked off the use of alchemy by the masses, though it takes a calm mind to do it correctly. You use this kit, and the puzzles shown below, to increase your notoriety. As shown below. you can skip this part but something might happen if you do them and reach a certain level!

A humble traveler who is never seen without his tattered cloak, he is extremely self-reliant and practical. He carries with him what little money he has, using his alchemy kit to live day-to-day. His past is a mystery, nor does he have many friends, but he seems to be on some sort of search, the specifics of which he refuses to share.
Isaac
Age: ??? | Sex: Male | Height: 0’5″
Likes: Eating and sleeping
Dislikes: Dougal’s lack of complainingDougal’s Familiar, a very portly and well-aged tundra-dwelling icebat. Unlike most Familiars, Isaac has the peculiar ability to talk, and his gleefully misanthropic personality often grates on his master’s nerves. Dougal has trouble explaining this, so he tends to keep Isaac’s unusual intelligence under wraps.
